ROLE SUMMARYAs a GoodGood Studio trainer, you share our values and passion for client experiences. You will be a brand ambassador for GoodGood Studio and will contribute to the growth of the business while ensuring the highest possible standards of client service and program delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIESClass & Program Delivery
Create and deliver exceptional group workouts and private sessions within the GoodGood Studio framework
Deliver pre-created workouts and private sessions developed by GoodGood Studio
Maintain consistency with GoodGood Studio’s programming philosophy and quality standards
Client Experience & Engagement
Build strong rapport with clients by learning names, understanding individual needs and goals, and fostering a welcoming environment
Engage with clients before and after class to support on offerings, class types, retention, bookings, and overall studio experience
Represent GoodGood Studio professionally and positively in all client-facing interactions
Attendance & Scheduling
Teach assigned classes and/or private sessions on a consistent monthly schedule and limit substitutions
Arrive 20 minutes prior to each scheduled class or session and remain 20 minutes following the session to fulfill pre- and post-class responsibilities. Trainers are compensated on a per-session basis. Session pay includes all required pre-class and post-class responsibilities.
Adhere to all studio opening and closing protocols when scheduled to open or close the studio
Studio Care, Cleaning & Operations
Ensure the studio and equipment are cleaned and reset after each class or private session in accordance with GoodGood Studio standards
Report maintenance issues, equipment concerns, or safety matters promptly to Management
Work directly with Management to communicate scheduling updates, feedback, and operational needs
Team Communication
Attend mandatory meetings and trainings with Management (meeting time will be compensated)
Uphold studio policies, procedures, and expectations consistently
Participate in ongoing education and development as required by GoodGood Studio
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPECTATIONSPrior group fitness experience is a plus but not required
If you do not have previous experience teaching a reformer strength training class, you will be required to attend our 3-day training program. The training program fee is $500. (see more details below in Hiring & Training Process)
If you have experience and certification from similar fitness studios, you do not need to attend the training program but will be required to attend an Instructor Onboarding Class and Audition.
CPR/AED certified (or willingness to obtain)
Reliable team player with a positive attitude and eager to build relationships with clients
Genuine passion to motivate others, clients and co-workers
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTSAbility to coach a minimum of four classes/week
Ability to coach a minimum of three holidays per year: One summer (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day); One winter (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day); One pre/post (Black Friday, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve)
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE & BENEFITSThis is a part-time role position compensated through:
$25/class: We offer a compensation plan that begins with a starting base pay of $25 per class for Instructors.
$15/hr for Internal Meetings, required workshops etc.
After three months of scheduled coaching, you will have the chance to earn a percentage of the total class revenue based on performance.
50% off drop in classes
HOURS OF WORKShift patterns vary from 5:10AM to 7:40PM and include 8:10AM -12:40PM weekends
